Art

The Art Curriculum is relevant to the children in its links with the wider curriculum as well as the history and geography of the local area. The children study the style of famous artists and artisans from different time periods and from a range of cultural and ethnic backgrounds. They are given opportunities to explore their ideas by experimenting, inventing and creating their own varied works of art using a range of materials. They will learn how to draw, paint, sculpt and explore other art, craft and design techniques.
