Remote Learning

Following consultation with stakeholders, we have developed our Remote Learning Policy, in the event of pupils needing to access learning from home. As the remote learning situation is dynamic, this policy is a working document and will be adjusted as required and in light of new guidance and shared experience, both locally and nationally.

We use Google Classrooms as a vehicle for providing quality learning resources that align to our curriculum, and each child has an account, allowing them access to the virtual classroom.

In the event of a class ‘bubble’ having to learn from home, or the whole school, we will provide some ‘live’ sessions so that we provide opportunities for children to engage with staff and still feel ‘connected’ to our school community. More details are provided in our policy.
